Privacy Policy

For the purpose of carrying out our business relationship (e.g. for product and offer inquiries, processing orders and repair orders, in IT support, when shopping through a shop, deliveries, etc.), we collect, process and use personal data and data about your company.
Personal data (e.g. your name, address data or contact details) that you provide to us, e.g. in the context of an inquiry or in any other way, will be stored by us and processed only for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you have provided us with this data. This data is processed on the basis of Art 6 Para.1 a; 6 para. 1 f. GDPR.
To maintain our business relationship, we use our customers’ contact details to a very limited extent, also for interest-related, internal marketing activities.
We generally do not use your data for advertising purposes!

Recipients of personal data
In some cases it is necessary that we and our partners receive certain information from you in order to be able to support you accordingly.
Necessary, purpose-related disclosure to companies / third parties involved in the performance / contract fulfillment (e.g. hardware and software manufacturers, companies providing support for hardware and software manufacturers, distributors, suppliers / freight forwarders, financing or leasing companies, insurance companies, etc.) always takes place after current rules of the BDSG new and the EU GDPR. We sometimes use external service providers for the technical implementation of data processing (e.g. when hosting our website and shops).
We contractually integrate external service providers who process personal data for us, so-called contract processors, in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. These processors have been carefully selected by us and are bound by our instructions.
In order to protect your personal data, we have made specific contractual arrangements and technical-organizational measures with all of our partners. Our physical and electronic security measures correspond to the current state of the art and the legal situation and are continuously adapted to new developments. All our employees who can come into contact with personal data are obliged to comply with data protection regulations and are instructed about the legal requirements.

Data processing via our website
You can visit our website without having to provide any personal information. If you use our website (website and shop), your internet browser will automatically transmit the following data to our web server for technical reasons:
• the current IP address of the internet connection you are using
• If you visit our website via a link, the page from which you are visiting us
• The websites that you visit within our offer
• Date and time of your visit

Applications
Your application can only be processed by us if it is sent to the email addresses career@ariston.de or application@ariston.de. If you use another email address of our company, your application cannot be considered.
In order to process your application, we collect the data you provide (usually first and last name, email address, application documents such as certificates and CV, date of earliest possible start of the job and salary expectations). The legal basis for processing your application documents is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b and Art. 88 para. 1 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 sentence 1 BDSG.
On the way to your application to our company, through the public internet, we have no influence and cannot guarantee the level of protection of your application. As soon as your application reaches our e-mail server at the above-mentioned e-mail address, we protect your data with high technical and organizational measures.
If you would like to send us confidential messages, we recommend that you send them by post.

Use of cookies
In some cases, so-called “cookies” can be used on our website and in the shops. These are text files that are transferred from our web server to your workstation. Cookies are used to recognize the workplace computer used the next time you visit and to inform the server when you last visited which pages of our website. Personal data is not included in the cookies and the cookies are not linked to other personal data stored by us. Cookies can only identify the workstation used, but not the person of the user.

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage can also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the standards mentioned expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.
